Brand
How to write and show Space Island. If you’re writing about it or putting it on a page, the logos, colours and type are below, and all the files are in one ZIP.
Name
Write Space Island: two words, both capitalised. The company, in legal lines and footers, is Space Island Ltd. The logo is a drawing, so it is never typed in a font.

The slogan is “You can just make things.” The line under the name: “An independent studio of one, adrift in space.” One person makes everything here, so it’s “I”, never “we”. The domain is spaceisland.ltd.
Logo
Space is a dot grid. Four stars sit on a 4×4 corner of it, and their rays reach for each other and make an S. The horizontal logo, the mark with the name beside it, is the default. The vertical logo is for square spaces and covers, the mark alone for icons, and the legal name for invoices, contracts and the copyright line.
- Always one colour. Starlight or white on black, black on light grounds. Gold only in the dark-blue Gece theme.
- Clear space: at least one grid unit on every side, about a fifth of the mark’s height.
- Smallest sizes: the horizontal logo 20 px high, the vertical logo 56 px wide, the mark 16 px.
- The planet is not the logo and never stands in for it.
Profile picture
The mark on a black square, at three quarters of its width so it stays clear when a platform crops it to a circle. Upload the full square; the platform rounds it.
Colour
Black ground, Starlight text. Mint is the one accent: focus, selection, a small “Copied”, the ✦ next to contact. It is never a button fill or long text. The values below are read from the brand’s tokens when this page is built.

Aurora
Aurora is light, never ink: it falls on objects and on the grid, always mint below and purple above. It is never a text colour, a button or a fill behind the logo.

Headings, text, buttons and the logo. Headings at 600 with tight spacing; never 700.

Labels, dates, numbers and addresses, upper case with a little extra spacing. Never long text.
Instrument Serif italic is the quiet third voice, one phrase at a time. All three are SIL Open Font License faces with Turkish characters, and the site serves them itself.
The planet
Space Island is a small planet, and the things I build are the buildings on it. It is the stage: the site’s first screen, video, announcements and covers. A low-poly sphere in stone colours, lit by aurora from below, with a building for every project. The live one is on the home page; grab it and give it a spin.
The planet is never the logo or a profile picture: at 24 px it’s a smudge. Its light is never reversed.
Don’ts
Don’t stretch or squashThe mark is built on a square grid.
Don’t rotateThe S only exists because the stars sit on grid points.
No glow, shadow or haloLight belongs to objects on the stage, not to the mark.
No low contrastIt has to read at 16 px.
- Don’t paint the stars different colours, or the logo in aurora colours. It is always one colour, and the stars stand for no project.
- Don’t put a pattern or the grid behind the logo; the logo is already part of the grid.
- Don’t set “Space Island” in a font as a logo. Use the files.
- Don’t use mint for long text or as a button fill, or gold outside Gece.
On products
Space Island is the maker of its products, not a co-brand. Each product ends its footer with “Made by Space Island” (in Turkish, “Space Island yapımı”), in plain text linked to this site. Its legal pages carry the full line, “<Product> is made by Space Island Ltd”, with the company details. The Space Island logo never appears on a product’s pages, and on this site each product shows with its own logo, name and colour.

Everything here is also in the press kit (ZIP). SVGs are outlined and need no font; PNGs have transparent backgrounds. Starlight and white files are for dark grounds, black ones for light grounds.
